RALEIGH – Texas A&M track & field's Debora Cherono claimed the 3,000m steeplechase title on the final day of the Raleigh Relays Friday at Paul Derr Track & Field facility. Cherono highlighted the final day of action in Raleigh after securing her first win in the steeplechase of the season and third of her career. The sophomore crossed the line in 9:56.45, to ensure her hard-fought victory beating the runner-up finisher by under a second.
