Calvin Women鈥檚 Tennis Starts MIAA Play with 5-2 Defeat
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. 鈥� The Calvin University women’s tennis team started MIAA play with a 5-2 defeat to Hope College at Huizenga Tennis & Track Center on Saturday. Hope (7-5, 2-0 MIAA) started strong in doubles and then won the first four matches in singles to top Calvin (2-6, 0-1 MIAA) on the indoor court. The Flying Dutch earned the first point of the day in doubles thanks to a sweep of the three matches by the scores of 7-5, 6-3 and 6-4.
