Boxers split doubleheader at Willamette, end losing streak
SALEM – The Pacific softball team defeated Willamette 4-1 on Saturday to snap a nine-game losing streak. The Game 2 victory came after the Boxers narrowly dropped the opener of the doubleheader, 6-5. Game 1: Willamette 6, Pacific 5 Pacific scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to tie the game at 5-5, but the Bearcats answered with a run in the bottom half to walk off with the 6-5 victory.
