BB: Eastern Connecticut sweeps Panthers in LEC opener
HARTFORD, Conn. 鈥� Juniors Brayden Michaelson (Charlton, Mass.) and Ryan Morgado (Brentwood, N.H.) had two hits apiece but Eastern Connecticut State University swept Plymouth State University, 9-2 and 16-1, in a Little East Conference (LEC) doubleheader at Dunkin’ Park on Saturday. Michaelson scored in the bottom of the eighth inning of game one to pull the Panthers to within 4-2, but ECSU scored five times with two outs in the top of the ninth to win the opener.
