Baseball takes game two, 8-3, to win series against Simpson
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa 鈥� The Coe College baseball team split a Saturday doubleheader with Simpson College at Daniels Park this afternoon, dropping the opening game 5-0 before an 8-3 victory in game two. The Kohawk bats mustered just seven hits in the opening game and failed to push a run across in the shutout. The Storm opened the scoring with one in the first inning and padded the lead with runs in the third and fourth innings as the Kohawk defense was made to pay for a few costly errors.
