Baseball Erupts for 22 Runs, Splits Doubleheader with Olivet
The Hope College baseball team responded decisively to an extra-inning loss on Saturday. The Flying Dutchmen nearly batted around twice during their first inning in Game 2 of a doubleheader against The University of Olivet, scoring 13 runs to set up a 22-1 victory. Hope bounced back after dropping the first game at Boeve Stadium, 8-6, in 12 innings and avoided a sweep of the three-game series. The Comets also took Friday’s first opener, 6-4, at Olivet.
