BASEBALL: Charlotte walks off Port Charlotte in back-and-forth battle
PUNTA GORDA 鈥� The Port Charlotte and Charlotte baseball teams couldn鈥檛 have been matched much more evenly headed into their county rivalry meeting on Friday night. The Pirates entered the game with a 10-6 record and ranked No. 106 overall in the state, per the Florida High School Athletic Association. The Tarpons were 11-7 and ranked No. 109 in the state.
