Women鈥檚 Track & Field Kicks Off Doc Jopson Invite with Trio of Top Five Finishes
BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Washington and Lee University women’s track and field team kicked off the Doc Jopson Invite on Friday with a pair of top five finishes. HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE MEET Josie Engle posted the lone first place finish for the Blue and White in the 3,000m steeplechase, coasting to a time of 11:56.13 which is the eighth-fastest in program history. Julie Anne Bush joined Engle in the event, finishing right behind her in second place with a time of 12:18.82.
