Westminster competes at Carnegie Mellon
Robert Hayes PITTSBURGH--The Westminster men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational Friday afternoon at Gesling Stadium. Junior Jack Crider (Apollo, Pa., Kiski) finished 14th in the hammer throw (41.41m, 135-10) and 18th in the shot put (12.85m, 42-02). Junior Kyle Crown (Lake Milton, Ohio, McDonald) was 16th in the shot put (13.44m, 44-01.25) and 19th in the hammer throw (32.37m, 106-02). Freshman Daniel Mukaabya (Bridgeville, Pa., Union) finished 20th in the shot put (12.62m, 41-05). Up next: Westminster will return to Carnegie Mellon Saturday. Events are scheduled to get underway at 10 a.m.
