Wartburg Drops Back-and-Forth Battle with Central, 6-5
WAVERLY, Iowa 鈥� The Wartburg College baseball team (11-6 overall, 2-3 A-R-C) dropped a 6-5 decision to Central College in the series opener Friday at Hertel Field. Andrew Robinson led the Knights at the plate, going 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and an RBI. Griffin Troha reached base four times with two walks and two singles. Central held an 11-9 advantage in hits and capitalized on two Wartburg errors. Central (8-10 overall, 3-1 A-R-C) struck early, loading the bases with no outs in the first inning.
