Von Kapff Complete Game Not Enough in Series Opener at Winthrop
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Charleston Southern dropped their series opener at Winthrop on Friday night by a final score of 4-0. The Bucs' Titus Von Kapff threw a complete game becoming the first pitcher on the staff to accomplish the feat since RJ Petit in 2021. The Eagles' Grant McGuire and Jaylen Hernandez tallied solo home runs in the second and fourth innings to get out to an early 2-0 lead.
