Unser Named WIAC Co-Newcomer of the Year
MADISON, Wis. 鈥� The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Wyatt Unser was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Co-Newcomer of the Year for the 2025-26 season. The WIAC announced its postseason awards Friday. Unser finished the year highly regarded, completing his freshman season with a 30-12 record. Of his 30 victories, 17 of them were won by bonus point. He went on to see large postseason success, winning the conference championship, playing a large role in the Blugolds’ WIAC team championship, and earning five victories in the NCAA tournament.
