Track and Field wraps day one at UAB Invitational
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Augustana Vikings men’s and women’s track and field teams opened their outdoor season at the UAB Spring Invitational, turning in multiple top-six finishes on day one of competition. On the men’s side, Magnus Wells continued his strong spring,leading the way with a second-place finish in the hammer throw. This was a personal-best mark of 52.11 meters. Wells also added another top-six result in the javelin, placing sixth with a throw of 53.16 meters to cap off his day.
