Tennis Claims 4-3 Win in NJAC Opener Against Stockton
WAYNE, N.J. 鈥� The William Paterson tennis team (3-5, 1-0 NJAC) captured a 4-3 win over Stockton (0-1, 0-1 NJAC) to open New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) play March 27 at the Dr. Ginny Overdorf Tennis Courts. HOW IT HAPPENED: Junior Isabella Paladino (Leonardo, N.J./Middletown South) and sophomore Allison Stein (Hewitt, N.J./West Milford) secured a 6-3 victory in first doubles. Junior Hillary Valdez (Garfield, N.J./Garfield) claimed a 6-1, 6-0 win in fourth singles. INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The Pioneers recorded their most wins in a season since the 2014-15 campaign.
