HARRISONBURG, Va. – EMU Director of Athletics Carrie S. Bert ’97, has announced the resignation of Track & Field Throws Coach Pete Szelwach. “Coach Pete empowered student athletes to be active participants in their throwing development.,” Bert said. “His positive impact makes his departure difficult for our throwers. His coaching style was a gift that has set them up for continued success. He is leaving EMU to pursue another career outside of coaching, one that has been a dream of his since childhood.
