Mounties Fall in Five Sets on the Road
HOUGHTON, N.Y. — Mount Aloysius pushed Houghton to five sets Friday night but ultimately fell 3-2 (25-23, 25-21, 22-25, 23-25, 10-15) in an AMCC men’s volleyball matchup at the Nielsen Center. The Mounties (3-19, 3-4 AMCC) came out strong, taking the opening two sets behind an efficient offensive effort. Mount Aloysius hit over .200 in both the first and second sets to build a 2-0 lead and put Houghton on the defensive early.
