Leathernecks Deliver Strong Efforts at WashU Distance Carnival
MACOMB, IL - Western Illinois track and field closed out competition at the WashU Distance Carnival with a pair of notable performances on the women's side, highlighted by a top-six finish and an addition to the program record book. Graduate student Maleigha Huston led the Leathernecks in the 800 meters, placing sixth overall with a time of 2:12.85. Huston's finish paced Western Illinois in the event and marked one of the team's top efforts on the day.
