Klahowya baseball player Garrett Kemp and Central Kitsap softball player Savvy Pauslon are the Kitsap Sun athletes of the week for March 16-21, selected by readers in an online poll. Athletes are nominated by their respective coaches, and the top vote-getters for both boys and girls are declared the winners. Kemp finished 4-for-6 with three home runs, including a grand slam/game-winner across two games. He also picked up a complete-game pitching win against Kingston, allowing one hit with six strikeouts.
