Jacob Osborne Named All-American by American Hockey Coaches Association
BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin sophomore goaltender Jacob Osborne (Gloucester, Ont.) has been named a Second Team All-American by the American Hockey Coaches Association, as announced Thursday. Osborne is the first Polar Bear to earn All-American recognition since Colin Downey in 2014 and the first Bowdoin goaltender to receive the honor since George Papachristopoulos in 2006. The NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year, Osborne also garnered First Team All-NESCAC honors following a standout campaign in which he led the conference in nearly every statistical category while setting several Bowdoin single-season marks.
