Iona Men鈥檚 Outdoor Track Opens Raleigh Relays with Strong Distance Performances
RALEIGH, NC - The Iona University men's outdoor track team opened competition Thursday at the Raleigh Relays, hosted by North Carolina State University, at Paul Derr Track & Field Facility. On the first day of the meet, the Gaels posted a pair of personal-best performances and saw two newcomers make their outdoor debuts. Junior Aiden Coles led the Maroon & Gold in the 1500-meter run, placing ninth overall in 3:41.38. Coles finished second in his heat and lowered his previous personal-best mark by just over a half second after entering the meet with a 3:41.91 from the 2024 Yale Twilight....
