Cougars Take On Day 1 at CMU
Pittsburgh, PA – Track and Field went across town and competed in day one of the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Friday. Day one saw the Cougars participate in three total events: women’s shot put, women’s hammer throw, and women’s 1500m. Senior Kayla Johnson finished in 20th position in women’s shot put. The Jacksonville, FL native finished with a score of 10.56. Junior Sarah Yannayon got the Cougars on the board in women’s hammer throw, the opening event of the day, finishing 24th overall with a score of 33.57. 33.57.
