THE HILL | The Alabama A&M softball team dropped a conference matchup to Alabama State, 22-2, on Friday afternoon at Bulldog Field. Alabama A&M 16-17 overall plated two runs in the third inning, but Alabama State 11-24 overall, used a pair of big innings to pull away and secure the win. After a scoreless opening frame, Alabama State broke the game open in the second inning, scoring five runs before adding a 10-run third inning to build a commanding lead.
