Big inning powers Skidmore to run-rule win, split with Potsdam
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College softball team picked up a split on Friday at home against Potsdam behind a 10-run outburst in game one for a run-rule win. The Bears claimed the nightcap 13-7. Game 1 – Skidmore 10, Potsdam 1 (6 inn.) Natalie Mayne launched a game-ending, three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning to cap a five-run frame for the Thoroughbreds to win the game early via the run rule.
