Baseball Opens Series with 17-8 Win Over Jarvis Christian
HAWKINS, TX – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria baseball team opened their three-game series against Jarvis Christian University with a 17-8 win. The Generals (23-10, 12-4 RRAC) scored in six separate innings, three of which saw crooked numbers. LSUA scored a game-high six runs in the third. They also scored four runs in both the eighth and ninth innings. Jack Cowan (1-0) earned the win on the mound, tossing 3.1 innings of shutout relief. He allowed just three hits.
