B-CU Falls to Jackson State in Hard-Fought Contest
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Bethune-Cookman battled point-for-point throughout the afternoon, but Jackson State ultimately pulled away late to secure a 4-0 win at Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center that was far closer than the final score suggests. Jackson State (7-9, 4-0) and Bethune-Cookman (2-10, 0-5) went back-and-forth in doubles play. The Wildcats top duo Rosalida Asumwa and Maria Romero Vargas grabbed a 6-3 victory over the Tigers' top unit.
