Anteaters Win Four Events to Open Vince O鈥橞oyle Classic
IRVINE, Calif. - UC Irvine won all four events on the first day of the Vince O'Boyle Track & Field Classic Friday afternoon at Anteater Stadium. Giselle Rodriguez led the way with a wire-to-wire victory in the javelin. She saw an improvement in each of her preliminary rounds, finishing with a personal and meet-record 48.38 meters (158-8) on her third attempt. Rodriguez moved up one spot to No. 2 in program history.
