Women鈥檚 Tennis Blanks Mountaineers
Franklin women’s tennis got its spring break started a little bit early, venturing to Berea for a Thursday conference match on its way south. The stop didn’t take long, with the Grizzlies dropping just two games in a 7-0 rout of the Mountaineers. Both doubles matches were quick 6-0 wins, with Ailyn Hendricks and Emma Tranter teaming in the first spot and Eleanor Stillabower pairing with Alleigh Leezer at No. 2. Hendricks was a 6-2, 6-0 winner at first singles, and the Grizzlies (9-9, 2-2 HCAC) won each of the next three matches without dropping a game to clinch it.…
