Softball Splits Doubleheader with Garnet
ASTON, Pa. 鈥� The Neumann University softball team split a doubleheader with Swarthmore College on Thursday afternoon. The Garnet took game one 7-2 while the Knights took the nightcap 5-1. In the first game, Swarthmore jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Neumann answered with a run in the bottom of the first as Emily Ammon led off with a walk and stole second. The senior scored as Rebecca DiLeo reached on an error.
