Sheldon Named Liberty League Indoor Field Athlete of the Year
TROY, N.Y. 鈥� Junior Ashley Sheldon capped off a stellar indoor season by earning Liberty League Indoor Track Field Athlete of the Year honors, the Liberty League announced on Thursday afternoon. Sheldon is Union’s first women’s track student-athlete to be named Field Athlete of the Year and only the second ever to earn sole possession of a season-ending award, joining Noemie Bechu ’17, who was named Liberty League Track Athlete of the Year in 2014-15.
