CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Per release from the league office, sophomore Joshua Powell of the Gardner-Webb track and field team has been named Big South Men's Field Athlete of The Week following a record-setting individual weekend Competing in the Big South-SoCon Challenge, Powell finished first in the long jump with a personal-best distance of 7.70m.
