Pitching the Difference as Mules Split With Royals
The Muhlenberg Mules split Thursday’s afternoon doubleheader with the visiting Scranton Royals, taking the first game 9-1 but falling 4-1 in the nightcap. Peri Kahn was the first to cross the plate for the Mules in game one; the sophomore ripped a double into left field and would later score on an infield single by Josie Hoffacker . A bases loaded error then plated two more runners a few batters later, giving Muhlenberg a 3-0 lead.
