Owens Named NSIC Swimming Coach of the Year
BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- Minnesota State's Nathan Owens has been named the NSIC Swimming Coach of the Year for his efforts this past season. Owens guided the Mavericks to a 10-1 dual record this past season, before securing MSU's fourth NSIC Championship with 1,166.5 points. During the NSIC Championships, Owens coached Maverick sophomore Savannah Acker who was named the NSIC Swimmer of the Meet as she tallied 80 points.
