PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Manhattanville University men’s tennis team continued its winning ways of late, logging a third-straight 7-0 victory on Thursday afternoon over Western Connecticut State. The Valiants improve to 4-5 overall, closing out a perfect three-match homestand. After taking all three doubles flights on Tuesday against Saint Joseph’s Long Island by 6-0 finals, the Valiants’ No. 2 tandem of Kazuma Kato (Nerima, Tokyo, Japan/Aioi Gakuin) and Derwin Guzman (Bronx, N.Y./Frederick Douglass Academy) pitched a shutout over Jack Buck and Axel Javier.
