Lynchburg Tennis Falls In Road Competition At Methodist
Fayetteville, N.C. — The University of Lynchburg men’s and women’s tennis teams took a trip south to compete against tough nonconference competition in Methodist on Thursday afternoon at the Gene Clayton Tennis Center. The Hornets’ men’s team (6-4) fell to the Monarchs, 6-1, while the women’s team (5-3) dropped, 5-2. In the women’s match, Lynchburg split the doubles contests. Ashley Hair and Giovana Gaboardi earned a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles, while Isadora Lima and Kayla Kosiorek fell 6-3 at No. 1.
