NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Iona University men's basketball graduate student Lamin Sabally was one of three MAAC student-athletes named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Wednesday. Sabally completed his lone season in Maroon & Gold after transferring from the University of the Incarnate Word. Selected by College Sports Communicators, the Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the court and in the classroom.
