Goodreau Named 2026 Laura Hurd Player of the Year
GLOUCESTER, Mass. 鈥� The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) has awarded Megan Goodreau of UW-River Falls as the 2025-26 Laura Hurd Player of the Year, announced Thursday, March 26. The award, voted on by the nation’s Division III head coaches, is presented to the best player at the NCAA Women’s Division III level. Goodreau is the fifth player from UWRF to be so honored and third straight UWRF winner. With this award, UWRF pulls ahead of Middlebury College and SUNY Plattsburgh, each with four honorees.
