Cornell’s late Game 2 lead slips away at No. 13 Simpson
INDIANOLA – Cornell’s softball team had a late lead get away against No. 13 nationally-ranked Simpson in Thursday’s 10-5 Game 2 loss on the road. The Storm won the opener, 13-5, in five innings and raised their season record to 17-2 with the doubleheader sweep. The Rams (9-5) battled the American Rivers Conference preseason favorite in the nightcap, leading 3-0 through four innings and 5-3 after five.
