Boutin Breaks School Record to Lead Loyola at Raleigh Relays
RALEIGH, N.C. – Loyola Chicago opened competition at the Raleigh Relays on Thursday with a series of strong distance performances, highlighted by a record-breaking run from Nate Boutin in the men's 3K steeplechase. Boutin won his heat and shattered the program record, clocking a personal-best 8:45.43 to lower his previous mark by 13 seconds. The Ramblers also posted multiple personal bests in the men's 1,500m. Rodolfo Sanchez led the group with a second-place finish in his heat in 3:42.55, the fifth-fastest time in program history.
