LAKELAND, FLA. – The St. Thomas Bobcats baseball made a loud statement on the road, powering past the top-10 Southeastern Fire baseball, 11–5. St. Thomas wasted no time grabbing control. Erick Ballenilla opened the scoring with a solo home run in the first, and the offense exploded an inning later as Edwin Toribio and Alan Nava launched back-to-back homers to build a quick 3–0 lead.
