All-Liberty League T&F Announced, Two Athletes Grab Major Honors
The University of Rochester men’s track and field team secured two major awards for the indoor season, as the Liberty League announced the conference’s season-ending awards on Thursday. Sophomore Emmett Hansen was named Men’s Field Performer of the Year, while first-year Barack Abdallah was honored as the Men’s Rookie of the Year. In addition, URochester was honored with 20 total All-Conference accolades. The Yellowjackets had four First Team selections, seven Second Team honorees and nine Honorable Mention awards.
