Akl and Diaz earn AHCA All-American honors
The American Hockey Coaches Association NCAA Division II-III men’s head coaches have recognized the top hockey players in their division by selecting them as CCM Hockey/AHCA All-Americans for 2025-2026. A pair of Aurora University Spartans, defenseman Simon Diaz and forward Hassan Akl , were selected as Second-Team All-American. Akl is a repeat All-American with his Second-Team selection while Diaz earns the honor as a sophomore for the first time in his career.
