The sixth-ranked Middlebury women’s tennis team prevailed over eighth-ranked Pomona-Pitzer for the second time this spring, earning a 5-2 triumph on Wednesday in California. HIGHLIGHTS The Panthers got out to a fast start, winning the first two doubles tilts. Elsie Van Wieren and Anna Lardner rolled to a 6-2 victory over Annique Varty and Sofia Kalyva at #1 before Ren Barton and Diya Pachamuthu earned a 6-3 decision in the #3 match to claim the initial point.
