The #15 Middlebury men’s tennis team claimed Wednesday’s crucial doubles point and outlasted #17 Pomona-Pitzer during six exhilarating singles contests for a 5-2 triumph. Three of the singles flights went to a winner-take-all third set. HIGHLIGHTS The Sagehens took the opening doubles match when the tandem of Drew Goldman and Jay Mallampati tallied a 6-1 decision in the top spot against Julian Wu and Noah Lewis.
