Women鈥檚 Basketball Places Nine on NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team
BOSTON, Mass. (March 25, 2026) 鈥� The Emerson College women’s basketball program placed nine of its student-athletes on the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference Team for their efforts in the classroom the Conference announced. Senior Bri Frongillo, the NEWMAC Athlete of the Year for the second-straight season and an honorable mention All-American by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), along with classmate Sofia Canter headline the nine selections by earning Academic All-Conference honors for the third-straight year.
