Warriors’ backcourt takes back seat to no one
One local girls’ basketball team boasted an impressive backcourt and another had a senior carry the load in the Big East Conference South this season. Ozaukee had two guards honored by Big East coaches. Sophomore Mya Schroeder was named to the second team. She led the Warriors in all major statistical categories, averaging 15 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 3.7 steals per game. Her scoring and assists ranked ninth in the conference, and she was sixth in steals and 11th in rebounding.
