Walk-off win opens home slate
FREDONIA, N.Y. — Brooke Caldwell doubled to deep center to bring in pinch-runner Mia Eickhoff with the winning run as Fredonia State walked off Geneseo, 4-3, in the first game of a non-conference college softball doubleheader Wednesday at Blue Devil Field. It was the Blue Devils’ 2026 home opener. Geneseo’s Gabriella Petroski tossed a four-hit shutout for a 4-0 win in the nightcap.
