van Eijkelenburg Earns Big South Player of the Week
CHARLOTTE, N.C. 鈥� Longwood junior Feline van Eijkelenburg has been named Big South Conference Player of the Week in women's tennis, the league announced on Wednesday. A Haarlem, Netherlands, native, van Eijkelenburg helped Longwood to a 2-1 week with road wins over Norfolk State and Charleston Southern, 4-3 and 4-2, respectively. She went 3-0 in singles and 1-2 in doubles. She was 2-0 at Charleston Southern winning 6-4 at No. 2 doubles and 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3 singles as the Lancers beat the Buccaneers for the first time in 13 matches since the series began in 2013. van...
