Third Quarter Surge Propels Women鈥檚 Lacrosse to Victory at Delaware Valley, 12-7
DOYLESTOWN, Pa.- The Immaculata women’s lacrosse team used a third-quarter surge and an all-around team effort to defeat Delaware Valley 12-7 to earn its second consecutive victory. After heading to the halftime break leading 6-5, the Mighty Macs outscored the Aggies 4-0 to take a 10-5 lead into the fourth quarter. Alexa Marczak and Elizabeth Mahmud each scored four goals, and Julia Pohl distributed five assists. Abigail Guarneri made 12 saves in goal for the Mighty Macs.
