By: Nick Kapatos Hempstead, NY – Hofstra women's basketball student-athletes Chloe Sterling and Emma Von Essen have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Sterling, a native of Kennesaw, Georgia, carries a 3.84 grade-point average as a marketing major. Meanwhile, Rockville Centre, New York-native Von Essen maintains a GPA of 3.68 as a community health major.
