Spartans Softball Set Scoring Record in Midweek Sweep
GRINNELL, Iowa – The University of Dubuque softball team playing in nearly ideal conditions on Wednesday, captured a sweep of the Grinnell College Pioneers by winning game one 20-12 and earning a sweep with a victory in game two 4-3. UD set a new school record for runs in a game during the opener with 20, breaking the previous mark set a year ago of 19 runs.
